A Quick Summary of Where I Am

Warning: Spoiler Alert

Right now, I'm about 1/3 of the way into the book.  Tris and Four are defying his mother's commands and heading outside the gate.  They are not sure what to expect, no one has ever been outside the gate.  Tris is hesitant to trust the people outside, even though some person (claiming to have the last name of Prior) from the outside sent them a video saying to trust them.  Despite this, they still go and make it to the outside.  There they meet Zoe and Amar.  Amar was Four's Dauntless instructor and was presumed to be dead since they found out he was divergent.  Four was shocked but he welcomes his help.  From there Zoe and Amar take them to the Bureau of Genetic Welfare, which is a symbol of the old government.  There they meet George, Tori's brother, another presumably dead Divergent. They soon learn the secrets of the past. Both are exploring the past and building towards a brighter future.  I am still enjoying the book and I hope to finish it soon.

An Introduction to My Blog

My name is Ethan Devyak.  I hate reading classics.  My favorite books are science fiction and fantasy.  Some of my favorite books are The Eragon Series and the Percy Jackson series.  Due to this, I looked into the Divergent series.  I have read Divergent and Insurgent and have loved them both.  Right now, I'm reading Allegiant, which I also love.  Something I really like so far is that the book started exactly where Insurgent  left off.  This got me instantly hooked on the book, as I love action in books right away.  The action hasn't let up yet which keeps me interested.  My favorite character so far is definitely Four.  I see a lot of similarities between him and I.  We are both smart, strong, and athletic.  I can relate to him which helps my reading experience.  This book reminds me of the Ukraine revolution, they are both exploring the unknown possibilities.  Based on everything I have read so far, I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in science-fiction or fantasy, I am really excited to read more of this book.
